Malanta Knowles, VP of Marketing
Malanta joined the family business in 1986, after graduating from Jefferson State in Birmingham, Alabama with an associates degree in home furnishings and a specialty in interior design.
She enjoys developing product from the conception of the “idea” to the actual finished wall décor item. Malanta travels the globe designing proprietary components, so that Paragon can offer unique, value added, wall décor.
Malanta’s specialty is thinking “outside the box.” Whether shopping close to home or traveling to New York, Europe and Asia, she is always searching for items that can be integrated into wall décor.
“I love design and I am constantly challenged by the sophistication of today’s consumer to design product that is trend savvy and fashionable” said Glassco-Knowles. “That challenge keeps me thinking about new product ideas throughout the day and sometimes in the middle of the night! My mind is constantly creating new ideas.”
