Mark Thompson, Showroom/Product Designer
Paragon’s newest designer, Mark Thompson was hired in 2006 as Paragon’s Showroom/Product Designer. Mark is responsible for designing and styling Paragon’s corporate showrooms, as well as designing wall décor for Paragon.
Thompson is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Interior Design. He has an extensive history with landscape, floral and showroom design.
“Design should reflect people and the way people live,” said Thompson. “People should fill their homes with things they love. Design is for people, the places they live, the things they love, and the ideas that make it all work.”
Thompson’s eye is drawn to the contrast of raw natural materials and contemporary clean lines. “I have an appreciation for all aspects of design throughout history,” said Thompson. “I love to see traditional pieces reinvented to fit the context of today’s lifestyles.”
